Here to keep you moving.

There can be a thousand reasons why someone moves the way you do and feels the pain or discomfort you feel. Let Jakub help you figure out what is causing it and hopefully relieve it as well. Jakub uses his experience with body movement and massage to help you get back to being you.

What to expect from your massage therapy experience?

Each treatment will consist of the following:

  • Intake - you fill out a health history form (will be sent by email to be filled out at prior to your appointment if you wish) and we will discuss with you any conditions that may be impacting you and what your goals are for treatment.

  • Assessment - if deemed necessary, a more thorough assessment will be conducted. This can include how you walk, how you hold your posture as well as orthopedic, range of motion (ROM) and strength testing.

  • Consent - we will discuss what will happen during the treatment along with any risks and benefits and you will be asked for consent to continue on with the treatment and/or assessment.

  • Treatment - the moment you’ve been patiently waiting for, the massage. This will include various hands-on techniques and modalities including hydrotherapy (hot or cold), cupping and others.

  • Homecare - personalized stretching and strengthening exercises along with self-massage tailored to each individual’s lifestyle. We want you to do these exercises and to do that we often encourage our patients to incorporate the exercises into activities they enjoy or already do. We try to keep it simple and easy to remember so that you can provide yourself with relief in between massage therapy treatments, ultimately, we want to see you less (because we care about you).

  • Education - We believe you likely were not taught enough about how your body functions, therefore with every treatment, Jakub and his colleagues will try to teach you a little bit about your body and try to explain why certain actions may cause pain or discomfort.
